Moorcroft ware is a heavily glazed earthenware, and is immediately identifiable by its unique style of decoration.

I don't mind saying that I didn't know how to reproduce this for a long time, and restricted myself to fixing a few chipped rims. But I worked it out in the end and was able to restore the damaged set shown below to the customer's entire satisfaction.
